About our dry ice machines
Dry ice blasting device and compressors: High performance
For efficient cleaning, a dry ice blasting machine and a compressor are an essential pairing for powerful compressed air cleaning. The compressor is the heart of effective dry ice cleaning and should not be overlooked when choosing the right machine.
For permanently high-quality cleaning in a fast, thorough and economical way, the dry ice blasting machines with compressor from Dry Ice Energy Ideal for benefiting from sustainability, efficiency, and residue-free cleaning. Discover our extensive portfolio now!
Dry iceThe method used for cleaning requires constant air pressure and sufficient air volume. If either of these components is lacking, the method's full potential cannot be realized, resulting in the following limitations in the cleaning process:
- Significantly longer cleaning times,
- Higher consumption of dry ice,
- Irregular blasting results and
- Possible technical failures of the cleaning device.
Dry ice cleaning relies heavily on a sufficient air supply. A suitable compressor for the dry ice blasting machine is therefore essential. The right combination of high air volume, a stable pressure curve, and clean compressed air is essential for residue-free and flawless cleaning results.

Not every compressor is suitable for Dry ice blasting device It is crucial that the technical parameters are optimally matched to the blasting system. The compressors from Dry Ice Energy are specially tailored to our devices to make your cleaning process comfortable and effective without the use of water or chemicals.
If you already have a compressor, you should Working pressure between seven and ten bar in continuous operation. In addition, the device should be able to Air flow rate between 300 and 2500 liters per minute to have.
- Faster cleaning processes through constant beam power,
- Reduced dry ice consumption with higher effect,
- Lower maintenance requirements through clean and dry air and
- Plannable performance without pressure drops and idle times.
- The ACS 2,7-90-10 with 300 l/min.: suitable for Champ Basic
- The BK119-200-7,5 with 680 l/min.: suitable for Champ and Champ Turbo
- The Cube SD 1010 with 1050 l/min.: suitable for Champ Vario
- The Screw Compressor with 2500 l/min.: suitable for Champ Turbo Pro

Whether in mobile services, Maintenance or the Plastics industry – the right compressor for the dry ice blasting machine is the key to benefiting from the reliable performance of the water- and chemical-free cleaning method:
- Automotive Industry: With the right compressor, cleaning the underbody or engine compartment is easy.
- Industrial equipment: Cleaning without worrying about short circuits or damage to sensitive parts such as control cabinets or machine housings – the dry ice blasting machine with the appropriate compressor protects surfaces for residue-free results.
- Printing and food technology: Thanks to the absence of chemicals and the use of only dry ice and compressed air, hygienic deep cleaning is possible even in demanding industries.
- building cleaning: Clean facades, window frames or listed buildings safely and without leaving scratches.
Depending on the application, a different compressor is required. Our team at Dry Ice Energy We will be happy to advise you with our expertise and experience in choosing the right dry ice blasting machine and compressor.
Dry Ice Energy offers you more than just the right device for cleaning with dry ice, but an optimally coordinated system consisting of a dry ice blasting device and compressor that is precisely tailored to your requirements.
With us you benefit from proven technology in practice for devices that are not only robust and reliable, but also flexible. At the same time, you advise experienced technicianswho will select the right system with you in a targeted and solution-oriented manner.
Whether you already own a blasting system or are new to dry ice cleaning – we are happy to support and advise you from the selection to the commissioning of your dry ice blasting machine and compressor!
Compressors operate most efficiently when located in a well-ventilated room at temperatures between +5°C and +35°C. Avoid exposing the compressor to dust, oil, or aggressive fumes from solvents, for example. If the compressor is used outdoors, we recommend an additional weatherproof housing.
If the compressor for your dry ice blasting machine is powerful, the intensity of the blasting will be increased while using the same amount of ice. Furthermore, the regulated compressed air shortens cleaning cycles. This allows for more efficient use of the ice, reducing incomplete sublimation and the resulting unnecessary operating costs.
Regular maintenance is essential, even for low-maintenance compressors. Therefore, you should carefully check the following points:
- Oil level check (for oil-lubricated models),
- Changing the intake and oil filters,
- Condensate drainage from the boiler and
- Checking the sealing elements.
As a rule, it is said that service measures should be carried out every 500 to 1000 hours.
The noise level depends heavily on the type of compressor. For example, a screw compressor is generally significantly quieter than a piston compressor. You can find the dB rating in the product data sheet for each compressor.
